I’m baking my way through a book called the The Bread Baker’s Apprentice by Peter Reinhart. There’s a whole group doing this challenge, but I think a lot of people have given up. I’m only about halfway through, so it’s going to take me much of this year, but I’m determined to finish!
This is the recipe for Light Wheat Bread (meaning half whole wheat flour, half regular flour, not light in calories) and it’s delicious. It’s also simple to make so I going to try to make a loaf of this (or an upcoming whole wheat bread recipe that I’m told is really good) every weekend instead of buying it at the grocery store.
