Oops. I didn’t mean to take such a big break there. I’ve been working non-stop on a very large and involved design project for one of my clients and it basically took over my life. Unfortunately, that also means I stopped taking pictures. So that’s means I failed Project 365. Oh no!
I’ve been thinking about what to do about that and I’ve decided that I really don’t care. I could be all boo-hoo about it and quit, but what is that going to accomplish? Yes, the point of Project 365 is that you take a picture every single day for a year, but if I’m honest with myself I never thought I would actually do that. My goal in this is to make photography a regular part of my life, not just something I do once or twice a month on the weekend. Obviously, I did not meet my goal in April, but I don’t think that means I should give up completely. I just have to try to do better in May.
I still have a bunch of photos from April that I haven’t posted, so I’m just going to pick up where I left off and I’ll keep posting until I catch up.
The photo of this bug really has nothing to do with this post but it was next one in line. It’s pretty rare that I look at a bug and think it’s pretty but I’ve never seen a bug like this. Such a wondeful color!
